# Enapter Dryer Web GUI
# Getting Started
Enapter Dryer Web GUI (Graphical User Interface) made for local control and monitoring using a web browser.
Note
Supported firmware versions of Dryer 4.1:
- DRY 4.1 with firmware version 4.0.0 or later.
Warning
Enapter Dryer Web GUI works over an insecure HTTP connection and was designed for usage in isolated Local Area Networks for Operation, Administration and Management. Please take into account that connection to public networks such as the Internet is not recommended for security reasons.
# Connections
Warning
If connected device do not have Auto MDI-X (auto crossover) use an Ethernet crossover cable to connect it to Enapter Dryer 4.1.
Connect Dryer using one of the methods described in Enapter Electrolyser Web GUI Documentation (opens new window).
# Physical Connection Specification

# Access The Web GUI
- Find the label with
UCM IDandPINcode on the back panel of Dryer. - Open the Web browser.
- It is two main ways to access the Web GUI.
- Way 1. Use the
UCM IDto create a link with.localhostname likehttp://UCM_ID.local.
For example:http://02CCF660F6.local.
- Way 2. Use the IP address of Dryer.
Note
mDNS must be enabled to resolve .local hostname.
Use HTTP protocol.
Warning
It is known issue of using Wi-Fi under Windows with access (name resolution) to the .local hostname. In case you can not access the Web GUI this way please use a local ethernet connection to Dryer or IP address as a hostname.
- In opened page enter
UCM IDandPINcode. - Click on the
Loginbutton to access the Web GUI.

# Monitoring Sidebar
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Dryer Status | Current operational status of the dryer. Possible states: 1. WAITING FOR POWER - The dryer is waiting to be powered on.2. WAITING FOR PRESSURE - The dryer is waiting for a sufficient amount of inlet pressure.3. STOPPED BY USER - The dryer is not drying hydrogen because it has been stopped by the user.4. STARTING - The dryer is starting up and checking which state to be in next.5. WAITING FOR ELECTROLYSER - The dryer is waiting for at least one electrolyser to be ready.6. STANDBY - The dryer is waiting for the output pressure to decrease below the allowable threshold value.7. WAITING FOR RULE ENGINE - The dryer is waiting for the rule engine to become ready.8. IDLE - The dryer is automatically stopped by DCN/IDCN, will be automatically started when at least 1 EL 4.1 becomes steady.9. DRYING 0 - Block 0 is drying the hydrogen, while block 1 is being heated and regenerated.10. COOLING 0 - Block 0 is drying the hydrogen, while block 1 is being cooled down after its regeneration.11. SWITCHING 0 - Block 0 is drying the hydrogen while slowly pressurizing block 1.12. PRESSURIZING 0 - Both blocks dry the hydrogen to smoothly transition into the drying cycle of block 1.13. FINALIZING 0 - Block 1 dries the hydrogen and block 0 prepares to be regenerated.14. DRYING 1 - Block 1 is drying the hydrogen, while block 0 is being heated and regenerated.15. COOLING 1 - Block 1 is drying the hydrogen, while block 0 is being cooled down after its regeneration.16. SWITCHING 1 - Block 1 is drying the hydrogen while slowly pressurizing block 0.17. PRESSURIZING 1 - Both blocks dry the hydrogen to smoothly transition into the drying cycle of block 0.18. FINALIZING 1 - Block 0 dries the hydrogen and block 1 prepares to be regenerated.19. ERROR - The dryer has stopped due to an error. Some errors can be solved remotely.20. BYPASS - The dryer is manually disabled and hydrogen gas can pass through both blocks.21. BYPASS1 - The dryer is manually disabled and hydrogen gas can pass through block 0.22. BYPASS2 - The dryer is manually disabled and hydrogen gas can pass through block 1.23. MAINTENANCE - The device is in maintenance mode.24. EXPERT - The dryer is in a special mode used to change dryer configurations.25. FSR WAIT BEGIN - Factory Settings Reset initiated, waiting for button hold confirmation.26. FSR WAIT CONFIRM - Factory Settings Reset in progress, waiting for button release to confirm.27. FSR WAIT END - Factory Settings Reset confirmed, waiting to complete the reset.28. FSR DECLINED - Factory Settings Reset was declined (button not released in time).29. IDCN WAIT START - DCN pairing initiated, waiting for button hold.30. IDCN WAIT CONFIRM - DCN pairing in progress, waiting for button release.31. IDCN BEGIN - DCN pairing started, waiting for network acknowledgement.32. IDCN COMMIT - DCN pairing commit requested, waiting for confirmation.33. IDCN COMMIT ACK - DCN pairing commit confirmed, waiting for acknowledgement.34. IDCN WAIT SYNCED - DCN pairing waiting for synchronisation to complete.35. # Status Sidebar
| Parameter | Description |

# Main Configuration Bar
Main Configuration Bar has 3 sub-layouts:

Remote Start or Stop hydrogen drying.
# Locate ON / OFF
Command to enable or disable the Locate device functionality.
When enabled red, yellow and green LEDs are blinking.
# Reset
Command to restart the dryer firmware. Press the Reboot button to confirm.
# Configuration
# Ethernet Settings
By default the DHCP is enabled.
If you want to change Ethernet Settings please follow these steps:
- Tap on the
Changebutton. - In the opened tab you can change the following ethernet settings:
- IP Address
- Netmask
- Gateway IP
- Tap on the
Applybutton to changeEthernet Settings. - Tap on the
Cancelbutton to discard the changes.
# Output Pressure Thresholds
Pressure thresholds for dryer operation control.
Maximum Output Pressure- reaching this pressure switches Dryer to standby and stops drying. Range: 10–35 barg. Must be >Minimum Output Pressure.Minimum Output Pressure- switches Dryer back to drying when pressure falls below this value. Range: 5–33 barg. Must be <Maximum Output Pressure.
To change Output Pressure Thresholds:
- Tap on the
Changebutton. - Update the values and tap
Apply. - Tap on the
Cancelbutton to discard the changes.
Warning
Changing the pressure thresholds can lead to intense cycling. The Customer takes full responsibility when changing the pressure values from the factory defaults.
# System Time Configuration
Warning
System's UTC date and time can't be changed when Dryer is connected to Enapter Cloud.
Set system's UTC date & time.
If you want to change System Time Configuration please follow these steps:
- Tap on the
Changebutton. - In the opened tab you can change the following parameters:
- System Date
- System Time
- Tap on the
Applybutton to changeSystem Time Configuration. - Tap on the
Cancelbutton to discard the changes. - Or you can synchronize System Date and System Time with your browser by clicking on the
Sync with your browser timebutton.

# Updating the Firmware Using Web GUI
How to Get Firmware Package
If you are unable to update firmware using Enapter Cloud or Enapter Mobile Application, write to support@enapter.com and get files for offline update.
Never Upload Firmware Files Received From an Untrusted Source
Enapter is not responsible for any misbehavior or harm caused by untrusted firmware usage or violating update instructions.
It is always recommended to update the firmware using Enapter Cloud or Enapter Mobile Application. However, in cases when it is not possible to have your device connected to Enapter Cloud, it is possible to update the firmware using Web GUI.
Warning
Do not power off the device during the firmware update.
Warning
Remove Dryer Control Network (opens new window) before updating the firmware.
- Make sure you have physical access to the device before starting the update process.
- Remove Dryer Control Network (opens new window) before updating the firmware.
- Save and unzip the received firmware package to a local hard drive of your computer so that you have two files named
fw_ucm_DRYER_X.X.X.enaandfw_cbd_DRYER_X.X.X.enanext to each other. - Open Web GUI of your Dryer.
- Navigate to
System Parameterstab. - Click
Updatelink. TheUpload Firmwarescreen will appear. - Drag and drop or select the file with UCM firmware named
fw_ucm_DRYER_X.X.X.enafrom your local hard drive. - On the screen you will see the confirmation that the firmware file is recognized by showing the UCM Firmware version.
- Press
Uploadbutton and wait for the process to finish both theUploadandInstallationsteps. It will take up to 10 minutes. Don't turn the Dryer off and don't close the browser. - Press
Doneafter receiving the messageUCM firmware was updated successfully. - Drag and drop or select the file with Control Board firmware named
fw_cbd_DRYER_X.X.X.ena. - On the screen you will see the confirmation that the firmware file is recognized by showing the Control Board Firmware version.
- Press
Uploadbutton and wait for the process to finish both theUploadandInstallationsteps. It will take up to 10 minutes. Don't turn the Dryer off and don't close the browser. - Press
Doneafter receiving the messageControl Board was updated successfully.
